"Shall We Dance?" - Watch these dance battles unfold.
On May 3, "Let's Dance" will see a twist on the dance floor as the six remaining couples engage in duels instead of their solo performances. The participants will be competing against each other in a new format, bringing an exciting change to the show.
Gabriel Kelly and Malika Dzumaev go up against Tony Bauer and Anastasia Stan, Lulu Lewe and Massimo Sinató face off against Jana Wosnitza and Vadim Garbuzov, and Detlef Soost and Ekaterina Leonova aim to outshine Mark Keller with Kathrin Menzinger. The teams have been announced on the show's Instagram account.
The duels will showcase genres not typically associated with "Let's Dance." Soost and Keller will be performing a flamenco to "Todos Olé," a dance style that's been featured on the show eight times in the past, with the last performance back in 2014. Ever since Bollywood has graced the stage with its presence, it's been performed by Wosnitza and Lewe to "Morni Banke," making its fifth appearance on the show. And remarkably, Kelly and Bauer will introduce a new dance style to the show - boogie woogie with their rendition of "Rock Around The Clock," a style that's never been seen on "Let's Dance" before.
Apart from these duels, the upcoming show holds the promise of intense emotions and heart-touching performances. Under the theme "Magic Moments," the celebrity participants will share their most cherished experiences with the audience through their dance routines, aiming to make it to the tenth decision show.
