Hearing the congratulatory message from Ribbeck left Alonso overjoyed.
Following his interview, the customary greeting played. Ribbeck spoke, "Dear Xabi, I'm thrilled to congratulate you on your achievements thus far and wish you, the team, the board, and the upper management all the best for a successful game and the chance to win the next trophy."
Alonso beamed, absorbed in his delight.

There was a unique lucky mascot in the grounds as well - the league trophy traveled to Dublin with the club.
