Venetian Las Vegas launches new loyalty program

The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas will soon launch Venetian Rewards, a new loyalty program that will replace Grazie Rewards.

Venetian Rewards is expected to launch in March, but no specific date has been given. The new customer loyalty program will include four tiers: emerald, sapphire, ruby and diamond. The operator describes the new program as "the best value program on the Las Vegas Strip."

Venetian Rewards is your opportunity to refresh your stay at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. From games and dining to entertainment and spa experiences, you can earn tiers and reward points. When it comes to perks, think about things like suite upgrades and free nights," the company said in a statement.

The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas is operated by private equity giant Apollo Global Management, which acquired the rights to operate the venue from Las Vegas Sands in early 2021. The deal included the site, then known as the Sands Expo and Convention Center, and may have temporarily ended the seller's domestic operations.

VENICE REWARD INTERNAL

Venetian Rewards members can earn Points and Tier Points in a variety of ways, including through non-gaming methods. For example, Rewards members earn 2 points for every $1 spent on dining, entertainment, hotel rooms, retail and spas at the Venetian and Palazzo.

This could differentiate Venetian Rewards from competing offerings on and off the Las Vegas Strip, as some operators only offer customers points and tier points for gaming activities.

Speaking of Venetian Rewards and games, the program awards participants one point for every $4 wagered on slot machines and one point for every $10 wagered on video poker. For table games, plan users receive two points based on average bet and game length.

Venetian Rewards points can also be used in a variety of ways. For every 100 points earned, customers can earn $1 in credit toward dining, entertainment, hotel rooms, retail and spas. While playing, 100 credits entitles every bettor to $1 worth of free spins on slots or video poker.

Jade level is the lowest level, and you can advance to Sapphire level after reaching 3,000 points. It takes 20,000 points to advance to Ruby level and 50,000 points to Diamond level. Ruby and Diamond customers receive annual dining credits of $100 and $200, spa credits of $150 and $300, flight credits of $150 and $450, and other benefits.

Why Venice Rewards are Important

Casino guests love earning points and status points, and data confirms that rewards programs are effective in building customer loyalty.

In recent years, however, customers across a wide range of industries have complained that advancing to higher levels has become increasingly difficult and expensive, and that the benefits offered by gaming companies are less attractive than ever.

That could indicate an opportunity for Venetian Rewards to steal business from its rivals' loyalty programs on the Las Vegas Strip.
