Vegas Music Updates: Rod's Conclusion, New Edition's Reprise
Rod Stewart, renowned singer, has just added seven shows to his Caesars Palace roster and has announced that his 13-year residency at The Colosseum is coming to an end with the venue's 200th show on August 7, 2024. His residency began in 2011, making him the longest-running Las Vegas headliner to date.
These final shows will take place on July 24, 26, 27, 31, and August 2, 3, and 7. Tickets are set to go on sale on November 10 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster.
Caesars Entertainment's president of entertainment, Jason Gastwirth, expressed his gratitude for Stewart's residency, stating, "It has been an honor to host the impeccable showmanship and unmatched talent of Sir Rod Stewart at The Colosseum for over a decade."
A Return to Glory Days
New Edition, the iconic '80s R&B group, is looking to make history at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, where they'll perform from February 28 to March 9. All original members, including Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill, are confirmed to join in on the fun.
The group released a statement regarding their upcoming Las Vegas residency, proclaiming their excitement to "give our fans a show they cannot witness anywhere else in the world."
Tickets for the event will be up for grabs on November 10 at 10 a.m. PST on Ticketmaster.
Spring Surprises
The Scorpions are ready to rock the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood with nine shows this spring. The confirmed dates are April 11, 13, 18, 20, 24, 26, and 28 as well as May 1 and 3. Tickets also go on sale via Ticketmaster on November 10 at 10 a.m. PT.
The Black Crowes are making their way back to Vegas for two shows at The Pearl at the Palms on February 9 and 10, right in time for Super Bowl weekend. Their tickets are available now via Ticketmaster.
