Vegas Music Roundup: Who's Lovers & Friends, Super Bowl's First DJ, More Killers Residency Dates
The Super Bowl wasn't enough for Usher. The eight-time Grammy Award winner will also headline this year's Lovers and Friends Music Festival. The just-announced cast includes former halftime performer Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Janet Jackson, although she'd rather forget her Super Bowl appearance.
General admission tickets start at $325 and can be purchased starting Friday, January 26 at 10am PT HERE .
The party is scheduled for May 4 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and will also feature The Backstreet Boys, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keyes, Mary J. Blige, Ja Rule, Ludacris and Ciara .

Tiësto’s first pessimism
DJ Tiësto, the Vegas icon known as the “Godfather of EDM,” will become the NFL’s first Super Bowl DJ.
"I'm so excited to be a part of Super Bowl 58!" the Dutch DJ said in a statement. "What's even more incredible is that it's in my favorite place - Las Vegas."
Tiesto won't be the first to appear on the Super Bowl warmup field, but he will be the first to take a spin during the game.
"As one of the most influential DJ/producers who has helped shape Las Vegas culture and electronic music around the world, Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create unforgettable gaming experiences for fans, players and audiences around the world." Tim Tubito, NFL director of event presentation and content, said in a statement.
Billy Joel/Sting Stadium Double Header
Billy Joel and Sting will play separate dates at Allegiant Stadium on November 9th as part of a limited five-city U.S. tour. Tickets will go on sale to the public on February 2nd at 10:00am PT. Pre-sales will begin on Wednesday, January 3rd at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.
The Killers have added two more shows to their previously announced shows on August 31st and September 1st at Caesar Palace Colosseum.Their first eight shows will take place August 14th-30th. The public sale will take place on Saturday, January 27 at 10am PT.
