On her Instagram account (with 26 million followers), she provided a hint about the cause of the accident: it was the first time she had ridden a dirt bike, and she had decided it would be her last. She shared a picture of herself on the bike, which is not allowed on public roads and is used in motorsports. In the image, she looked like she was just about to experience the accident. Dobrev has not yet divulged the specific details of what occurred during her speedy tour.
"I'm okay," Dobrev attempted to reassure her fans. However, she acknowledged that the injuries were more severe than many might think, stating, "I have a long journey of recovery ahead of me."
Nina Dobrev has been in a relationship with American professional snowboarder Shaun White (37) for years, and the couple mutually enjoys thrilling sports. Olympic champion White took to social media to share an update on Dobrev's condition, posting a photo of her out of the hospital. In the image, Nina appeared to be on a private jet, likely making her way back home.
"Vampire Diaries," which aired in 2009, was a hit show that revolved around Elena Gilbert (Dobrev), a high school girl who unexpectedly had to contend with the undead. The series followed Elena as she encountered vampires, fell in love with one, and eventually became a vampire herself. The enticing love triangle between human Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, 41) and his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder, 45), both of whom are vampires, garnered millions of viewers until Dobrev announced her departure in 2015. The show concluded in 2017 after eight seasons.
