If you're looking to not only rid your vehicle of dirt, flies, and dust from the Sahara, but also make it visually appealing, head over to "Prim Wash" in Essen. Here, they use pink, blue, and yellow foam for cleaning (1 marker per foam, costing 1 euro each).
The foams come with distinct, fresh scents that help dissolve adhesive particles before the actual washing process, which is carried out with a brush. Kai Hahn, the owner of the wash bay, explained this method.
Pampering for your four-legged friends
If you want to thoroughly clean your dog, there's a special wash bay available at the Flora Garden Center in Essen-Heidhausen. This place is perfect for giving your furry friend a proper bath without making a mess in your bathroom at home.
You can choose from three different shampoos and have the option of blow-drying. The full wash will cost you around 6 euros for small dogs.
As for your trusty bicycle, you no longer have to clean it yourself. The Franz-Sales-House in Essen-Huttrop houses a bike wash that can handle both regular bikes and e-bikes. Trustworthy employee Bjoern Erwin (44) is responsible for ensuring the proper care of these bikes. Following the wash, the chain will go through a cleaning and re-oiling process. The service costs start from 10 euros.
