Female ancestors killed. - Under police protection, baby Mia resides with her aunt and a foster family.
When the infant with Ukrainian ancestry was liberated from Ina (43) and Marco O. (44) of Sandhausen (Rhine-Neckar district) on March 13, 2024, Mia was provided to a family on standby. Her aunt (20) had already journeyed from Ukraine to Germany to meet her baby niece shortly after the incident.

Attorney Franz explains: "As my client is affiliated with the Witness and Victim Protection Office, she is being observed closely by the CID. They mostly assist her with interactions with authorities."
Quiet killer couple remain incarcerated
Mia's sister Margarita R. (†27) and her mother Maryna S. (†51) took Mia in early March. Not long after, the remains of the 27-year-old sister were discovered at a NATO dock on the banks of the Rhine in Hockenheim. The corpse of the 51-year-old mother was found in the "Krummes Loch" fishing lake near Bad Schönborn.
The suspected couple (who have three children), who supposedly "would do anything to have a little princess," have been held in custody for murder to cover up a crime and have kept quiet.
Investigations are still ongoing.
