A recent Instagram post from the DFB shows a die-hard Stuttgart fan with a tattoo of the VfB logo and Deniz Undav (27) on his thigh. This has been one of the most unique team announcement videos in recent times!
Undav has commented on this bizarre occurrence: "What a cool guy who deserves one of my jerseys!" Besides his scoring skills, he also hopes to foster a relaxed atmosphere in the EURO team. He said, "Since I'm there, the national team is just like the VfB team. Here, we have Thomas Müller, but we also have me as 'Kasper'."
The striker's target for the European Championship: to maintain the same level of performance as he has shown this season at VfB (19 goals, 10 assists). Undav expressed, "I hope I can keep up this goal-scoring form. When I score, the fans and the whole country are happy with me."
