UConn's Paige Bueckers Engages in a Game of Craps with Hip-Hop Star Shortly Following a Performance

Star College Basketball Player Paige Bueckers had a run at the craps table last weekend, sharing the game with A-list artist A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, whose real name is Julius Dubose.

Snaps of A Boogie standing next to UConn's Bueckers, flaunting her toned waist, rapidly circulated online. His entourage was lurking around the gaming table.

No one's sharing who walked away as the winner, nor is it disclosed where the high-stakes game took place. Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun tribal casinos are just a short drive away from Hartford.

Reports also suggest that they hit the basketball court somewhere in Connecticut, but the venue hasn't been revealed yet.

Before the gaming table meetup, Bueckers and her UConn women's basketball teammates caught A Boogie's hip-hop concert on Saturday at Hartford's Xfinity Arena. Brobible reported that his concert was sold out, with other artists such as NLE Choppa, Luh Tyler, and Byron Messia joining the lineup - all part of A Boogie's "Better Off Alone Global Tour."

Questionable Past

Dubose's troubled past includes arrests in 2020 for unlawful possession of a handgun and marijuana in New Jersey, followed by another arrest in London in 2021. In 2021, he was also sued by a New Jersey couple for damages they claimed he caused to their $3.3M residence, seeking $260K in damages. The plaintiffs pointed out that Dubose or his friends allegedly clogged the toilets so severely that they overflowed, causing liquids to seep through the mansion’s floor. They also claimed that the ceilings were damaged.

Insights on Paige

Bueckers, on the other hand, maintains a clean-cut image. The 22-year-old from Minnesota enrolled at UConn in 2020. At 6 feet, she's been amassing impressive athletic accolades, such as AP Player of the Year, Naismith College Player of the Year, USBWA National Player of the Year, the John R. Wooden Award, and multiple first-team All-American honors.

She tends to keep her personal life under wraps. There's no info on her dating life, and she's committed to her studies at UConn's Storrs campus, earning academic all-American status. She's also earned a respectable 3.497 cumulative GPA, making the dean's list four times, and achieving a near-perfect 3.930 GPA in the fall of 2023.

Bueckers missed the 2022-23 season due to a tear in her left knee ACL. She's eager to lead the Huskies to a national championship - a 12th win under the tutelage of famous coach Geno Auriemma.

Upon turning pro, speculation is rife about where she might play in the WBNA.
