Across the country - representing their best period clothing while promoting economic development!

In honor of Miss America's highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department, we're celebrating by finding out which cities have the most Swifties (per capita). We take a deep dive into Era's tour cities and their Taylor Swift scenes, analyzing stadium attendance, TikTok videos, Google searches, Taylor Swift-themed events, and Facebook Taylor Swift (Taylor Swift) Factors such as the number of group members to find out which city is the most popular "Fearless" is their love for Tay Tay.

Additionally, the total number of fans attending these shows was a whopping 137,000, which considering Santa Clara only has a population of 124,800 means a population increase of 107%! Tampa, Florida made a splash on the East Coast, finishing second overall in Swiftie with a score of 98.7/100. The city's high ranking isn't surprising given the average viewership of 68,800 fans per show and the 24,200 TikTok videos capturing Taylor Swift's performance. Ahrefs (a keyword tracking tool) also shows a whopping 33,500 searches related to Taylor Swift and Tampa, while Facebook shows 97,000 members in a dedicated Taylor Swift Facebook group. It's clear that Tampa's Swiftie community is booming, and it's going to be a "brutal summer" for Taylor if she misses out on the Sunshine State city!

Steel - won the hearts of thousands in Taylor's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA and ranked third in our Swifties per capita rankings - scoring a whopping 66.5/100. Steel City is a major contributor to the national Taylor Swift craze, with the third-highest number of Taylor Swift-related searches in the city; 51k to be exact! Additionally, the hub created 12,800 TikTok posts and a Facebook group owned by Taylor Swift has 25,000 followers. But the celebration doesn’t stop there! Rounding out the top 5, Kansas City, Missouri is ranked 4th with a score of 65/100 and has the 2nd most followers among the Taylor Swift-owned Facebook groups in the country! Maybe Travis Kelce himself? Meanwhile, Arlington, Texas, proved its dedication to Taylor's music by placing fifth with a score of 63.5/100.

Las Vegas, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the list with a "blank"score of 0/100. Despite the huge crowds and attendance of 128,000 people at the two-day Eras Tour concerts, the number of TikTok videos posted was only 6,800, the lowest in the country. Additionally, only 992 people have signed up for the Taylor Swift-specific Facebook group, and there are three upcoming Swiftie events. But hey, Vegas fans, shake it off and don’t let the numbers put you off!

In April 2024, we set the Eras Tour 2023 cities as our starting list and then created an index to analyze and weigh various factors. Please note that we have not yet included 2024 US Eras tour dates as acts have not yet begun to be ranked.

  2. Number of Eras Tour performances in each city – 15%
  3. Google search volume (Ahrefs) – 10%
  4. Searches include: "Taylor Swift + City" and "Taylor Swift + Stadium"
  5. Number of TikTok posts (Tiktok) – 20%
  6. Searches include: "#City + TS + The Eras Tour", "#City + Eras Tour"
  7. Number of members in Facebook groups dedicated to Taylor Swift (Facebook) – 20%
  8. Number of Taylor Swift-themed events (Facebook and Eventbrite) – 5%

Each city was then rated on a scale of 0 to 100 to find out which cities have the highest number of Swifties per capita.
