The brutal murder
This incident occurred on May 6th in the Berlin neighborhood of Falkenhagener Feld. Several people alerted the police soon after, who later found the 18-year-old on the sidewalk in the street Im Spektefeld at the intersection with Hauskavelweg.
As per reports, the victim had not just been shot twice from behind. Witnesses also stated that the person on the ground was being stabbed. Two neighbors also claimed they saw the suspected perpetrators, two men in dark clothing, running towards Spektefeldwiesen.
Although rumors suggested the victim was a refugee living nearby, the prosecutor's office spokeswoman could neither confirm nor deny this information. There were no links established to a "clan" or any organized crime connections. However, a police union representative called it a "public execution" and claimed the culprits were linked to organized crime.
