Road congestion - Two streetcars crash into each other in Mannheim.
There was an unexpected crash between two streetcars in Mannheim on a Saturday afternoon. The stretch of route connecting Paradeplatz/D1 and Kurpfalzstraße had to be shut down in both directions, delaying service. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but an examination is being conducted to see if the streetcars can still be operated. The exact extent of the damage will be evaluated as well. Inspectors are looking into the factors behind this collision.
