Authorities searching for individual who owns a scooter. - Twenty-six-year-old individual takes girl's scooter (aged 4).

Intriguing search led by authorities in Sondershausen, Thuringia: Locating the owner of a scooter.

What transpired to get this seized by law enforcement had many folks taken aback: a 26-year-old adult pilfered the scooter from two small girls on a sacred day. Apparently, the youngest one was hardly over four years of age!

The episode took place on April 12, when, around 1:25 p.m., a patrol watched the man take the "Crane" children's scooter from the two unidentified children in Conrad-Röntgen-Straße.

The officers then detained the culprit, who was already on the police's radar, and confiscated the scooter. However, on their return to the location, there was no sign of the two girls. Thus, the hunt for these potential owners commenced. Police inquiries are ongoing, and they are soliciting input: Who might be aware of this scooter's owner?

The children were assumed to be between 4 to 5 and 7 to 9 years old. The younger girl's hair was knotted, while the older child had her longer blonde hair braided. What stood out was the fact that neither child was shod but just had on socks.

The police welcome tips at 0361/574365100.

The circumstances behind the motive of the adult for stealing the scooter and the targeting of young girls hasn't been clarified as yet. Police have filed a report on this matter.
