Operations are undergone. - Twelve-year sentence handed down for the death of a past lover due to manslaughter.

Last Tuesday, the Munich I Regional Court found a 28-year-old man guilty of manslaughter, sentencing him to twelve years behind bars. The court was certain that the defendant murdered his ex-girlfriend, who was also 28, in a Munich hotel room. The court made this announcement after its verdict was declared. Through it all, the convict maintained his innocence.

The victim and the accused had been in a long-term relationship and shared two children. Despite this, they experienced several breakups throughout their relationship. The reason for the separation was supposedly the woman's frequent engagement in prostitution.

In November 2021, an argument erupted. The man attacked the woman, kicking and strangling her. He then put her body in a suitcase and ditched it in a woody area near Berg (Starnberg district). The man tried but failed to incinerate the suitcase using petrol. The final verdict is still pending.
