These phrases come as a shock. - Tuchel's true thoughts on Kane's potential transfer unveiled.

The previous summer, FC Bayern acquired renowned player Harry Kane (30) from Tottenham Hotspurs, expending about 100 million euros—partially due to coach Thomas Tuchel's (50) steadfastness.

Tuchel's Actual Stance on the Kane Recruitment

At his concluding press conference, scheduling Bayern's match against TSG Hoffenheim (3.30pm), Tuchel remarked: "I'm still exceptionally proud and pleased that I maintained my position regarding Harry Kane. I encouraged Brazzo (Hasan Salihamidzic) with the flame back then and engaged in any possible way to have an up-close, personal grasp of him. I'm grateful that I stood firm on the transfer committee."

He added: "It's not how you convey what you desire and others say 'No, we'll do the total opposite.' It's always an intentional dialogue with the objective of refining the team. Certainly, there can be contrasting perspectives, but that's not worrisome."

Coming from the coach, his viewpoint on signing Kane appears unexpected! During the summertime, rumours circulated that Tuchel had sought after a new defensive six rather than the Englishman's transfer.

Harry Kane moved from Tottenham to FC Bayern last summer for a transfer fee of 100 million euros

In early August during Bayern's preparations in Singapore, Tuchel conveyed: "We don't have a faithful defensive six who considers offense cautiously, who's particular about shielding the backline, who concerns themselves with safeguarding their own defense."

At that moment, Tuchel contemplated conscience to stoke the reckless discussions about his target striker before Kane ended up joining the German team leaders. Further, Bayern had been keen on the Englishman much antecedently, and Salihamidzic had already negotiated with Kane's family and brother.

Notwithstanding, the goalscorer will be unable to participate in the season's last game against Hoffenheim due to an injury. Tuchel expressed: "He is overseas and is receiving healing from his individual physician. He cannot travel with us. It was marginally possible in Madrid and we attempted injections and treatments. The back has irreversibly contracted, it's intensified and then reopened intermittently during daily motions."

As a consequence, the England international forward cannot top the record stablished by a former Bayern sensation, Robert Lewandowski (35/FC Barcelona), who scored 41 goals in the 2020/2021 campaign. Kane currently has attained 36 goals. Besides Kane, Tuchel will misshand many other professionals for the season final. Leroy Sané (28), Jamal Musiala (21), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (35), and Raphael Guerreiro (30) will also be missing out. Sacha Boey won't be present in the squad owing to bereavement following the passing of his grandmother.
