Prior to the television discussion - Trump requests a drug test from Biden.
He neglected to comment on the likelihood of Trump partaking in a drug test. To back up his public criticism of Biden, Trump avowed that the latter had presumably been under the sway of drugs during his annual national address in March.
"I'm eager to face off against this guy; nevertheless, I'll demand a drug test," Trump proclaimed in an address at a Republican convention in Minnesota. The New York Post divulged this information.
In Biden's March oration, he spoke significantly louder and more rapidly than usual. This distinction prompted the Trump camp to suspicion drug use in the former Vice President.
► The GOP congressman and medical professional Greg Murphy (61) accused Biden of being "on something" during his speech. Biden's associates have yet to respond to the allegations.
This isn't the first time that Trump has implicated Biden's campaign with drug-related accusations. During the 2020 political campaign, he suspected Biden's outward appearances to be a manifestation of intoxication and requested a drug test before their disputed television confrontation. Ultimately, neither of the candidates received such testing.
*On November 5th, Americans are slated to elect their sixty-first president. Incumbent Joe Biden (Democrat) and ex-President Donald Trump (Republican) are predicted to square off against one another. Minor-party candidates (including the Greens and Libertarians) are estimated to be devoid of realistic chances.
