If successful in the election, - Trump plans to recruit Musk for his administration.

Donald Trump, aged 77, and Elon Musk, aged 52, are having discussions about a potential advisory role for Musk in the potential future government of Trump. If Trump wins the upcoming election against current president Joe Biden, aged 81.

The two billionaires, who were once not on the best of terms, have seemingly warmed up to each other due to the mutual dislike they receive from America's liberals.

Details about the specifics of Musk's job haven't been finalized yet, according to the "Wall Street Journal."

While it's still unclear what Musk's responsibilities would entail, the report suggests he could be an asset for Trump, potentially replacing Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner's previous role.

Possible tasks for Musk go beyond just economic and energy-related matters:

  • According to some insiders, Musk could be tasked with securing the border. Musk has previously visited the border with Mexico in September to stream the situation live on his platform "X." He called for a law that supports "honest migrants" while stopping those who break the law. This message resonated not only with Trump but also with many Americans.
  • Musk's involvement in the issue of voter fraud is another notable aspect. Musk and billionaire investor Nelson Peltz presented Trump with a plan for a data project to prevent voter fraud.
  • Musk, who is the second wealthiest man in the world with an estimated fortune of $195 billion, has the potential to financially support Trump's campaign. In addition to his own wealth, he has many other wealthy friends who could also be encouraged to contribute to the Republican Party.
  • Both Musk and Trump have shown an interest in space-related issues. Musk's company SpaceX includes the satellite network Starlink, which has been used by Ukraine in their war to enhance communication. Trump, in 2019, expanded the US military and created the Space Force.

Interestingly, just two years ago, both men publicly attacked each other. In July 2022, Trump called Musk "another bullshit artist." In simple terms, a waste of space.

Musk retaliated, saying that Trump should hang his hat on a nail and retire.

Yet, as the saying goes, yesterday's arguments are meaningless.
