Court reaches conclusion in the Stormy Daniels case. - Trump is now in fear of the decision

A long-awaited trial has commenced, marking a significant milestone in the annals of American legal history. The jury - consisting of five women and seven men - is tasked with reaching a verdict on 34 accusations. The verdict they deliver - "guilty", "not guilty", or "no agreement" (failed trial) - will have far-reaching implications for the US.

After a marathon of closing arguments on Tuesday, both the prosecution and defense concluded their pleas to the jurors. Even Donald Trump appeared to be tired during the lengthy process.

The prosecution took over five hours to simplify the intricate indictment.

Claims of Forged Documents

The narrative pushed by the prosecutors is as follows: During the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump allegedly had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels (45). His lawyer at the time, Michael Cohen (57), is said to have tried to cover up the scandal by paying her $130,000.

To manage another potential lover, Playboy model Karen McDougal (53), David Pecker (72), the tabloid king, supposedly stepped in: McDougal was set to receive $150,000 as a "consulting fee."

The prosecution alleges that Trump forged business documents to camouflage the hush money Cohen paid to Daniels. Cohen is also accused of violating election laws through these money transactions.

However, the defense insists that Trump had committed no wrongdoing. Defense attorney Todd Blanche (49) asserted there was no proof of forging any business documents. Cohen's method of reimbursing the payment to Daniels, categorized as "legal services", would not result in a conviction, according to Blanche's sarcastic remarks. He urged the jurors to return a not guilty verdict, claiming it would make them "lighthearted" and "quickly dispense with the matter".

Trump himself added his thoughts on the jury's deliberations, characterizing his opponents as "fascists, communists, and criminals". He deemed the entire process a "manipulated farce", disgraceful, and driven by his political adversaries, including Joe Biden and his followers.
