German border shut down - Tractor stalls international railway operations.

Mule alarm on the railroad line to Cottbus
Meanwhile, the police in Hähnichen (Görlitz district) were facing a different issue: mule owners were swearing at Pedro, Pedro, Pedro. Their mule had sneaked its way out of the stable around 10:50 am and was roaming around near the railroad tracks. This is where the regional train between Görlitz and Cottbus runs.
Police spokeswoman Anja Leuschner (35): "We couldn't catch him with a rope or halter." The federal police had to secure the railroad line to keep the mule from colliding with a train.
Leuschner explains, "Since there wasn't any vet on hand with an anesthetic lance, the uniformed officers enclosed the mule with a lunge line and coupling wire."
The owners ultimately had to guide their mule four kilometers back home, as Pedro had decided to take a road trip away from his home...
