Something to note: the Instant Pot is not self-explanatory. It has numerous buttons, functions, and features. It's important to educate yourself on them. Also, while it's one of the safer pressure cookers, it's still a pressure cooker, so learning how to properly seal and release the pot is essential. Although it may seem intimidating, you'll likely master it after trying a few recipes. Let's begin with an easy one.

Let's not release the pent-up pressure by sliding the valve to "venting." Instead, let the pot cool naturally for approximately 15 minutes for the float valve to drop down. If it hasn't, let out the remaining pressure through the valve. Voila! Your chicken is now ready to be sliced, plated, and enjoyed.
