Tony Awards '24: 'Stereophonic' Tops Nods Alongside Alicia Keys' 'Hell's Kitchen'

This year's Tony Award nominations saw musical hits.

Tony Awards '24: 'Stereophonic' Tops Nods Alongside Alicia Keys' 'Hell's Kitchen'

Alicia Keys' musicals "Hell's Kitchen" and "Stereophonic" earned 13 nominations each, while the '70s-set play "Stereophonic" about a make-believe band received the same number of nominations. "The Outsiders," a musical adaptation of the renowned S.E. Hinton novel which also inspired a 1983 film featuring a star-studded cast, received 12 nominations. "Cabaret" with Eddie Redmayne in the lead role followed with nine.
