The Barclays Arena in Hamburg is set to play host to the four teams vying for the EHF Cup championship. The only non-German participant this season hails from Romania.
Ahead of their match with Bucharest, Flensburg player Kevin Möller (34) mentioned during the "Auszeit" Dyn show, "We're confident about our chances. But we need to prove ourselves once we reach that point. It all depends on us. And if we play at our best, I believe we have a strong chance of winning."
Flensburg had a rehearsal for their upcoming matches. Their last Bundesliga game before the Final Four ended in a narrow 27:28 defeat against Eisenach.
Following their win against Bucharest, Flensburg has made the finals. They'll be up against Füchse Berlin, a team featuring the Füchse star Mathias Gidsel (25), who led his team past the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the semi-finals.

Hear it straight from Gidsel (25) himself, commenting prior to the Löwen clash, "I expect a really challenging match, and it's not like a regular Bundesliga game. The setting and atmosphere differ significantly when we're playing for the Final Four. It's always difficult to advance this far in the league."
The Berliners ultimately prevailed in the end, winning 33:24. Now, Flensburg must prepare for their final encounter.
