Tiger Woods' PopStroke Golf Launches Tee Time in Las Vegas
Tiger Woods' PopStroke golf is making its way to Las Vegas. The news release reveals that the construction for this miniature golf and entertainment experience will commence on the 16th of August at the Town Square shopping and dining complex situated south of the Las Vegas Strip.
Within the 3-acre plot, visitors will find two 18-hole putting greens, a two-story restaurant, several bars, and an open-air beer garden offering games like cornhole and foosball, making it a comprehensive entertainment spot.
However, what distinguishes PopStroke from traditional miniature golf courses are the carefully designed mini golf courses by Woods and his TGR Design team. Incorporating elements such as fairways, bunkers, and roughs prevalent in traditional golf courses, the 18-hole putt-putt experience provides a more realistic, challenging game.
The company describes itself as a "fusion of tech-driven golf and casual dining." This concept allows for a unique fusion of leisure and social interaction, giving families and friends a fun, friendly environment to gather.
"PopStroke brings families and friends together in a fun and relaxing setting. I'm excited to see the concept expanding into new cities," commented Tiger Woods in the official statement.
Collaborating with TaylorMade, a prominent equipment manufacturer, Woods and PopStroke anticipate their new venue to be operational by Q1 2024. This outlet in Nevada marks the first PopStroke location in this state. Previously, the brand had established its presence in Jupiter, Florida, as well as in Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Port Saint Lucie, and in Glendale, Arizona, and Houston, Texas.
New PopStroke venues are also under development in Scottsdale, Arizona, Delray Beach, Florida, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Just over two weeks ago, another similar miniature golf and dining/drinking experience, Swingers Crazy Golf, announced they'll be setting up shop in Mandalay Bay, less than two miles from the Town Square. While Las Vegas accommodates such activities better than most other destinations, it is quite unusual for such experiences to be so close together.
To add to the golfing competition, Topgolf is present at the MGM Grand, which is also three miles from Town Square.
