Fireworks, celebrations, and demonstrations in Dresden. - Those opposing Lindemann aim to "disrupt" Rammstein.

The uproar over the band, "Big Tits," who gained notoriety for their Row Zero Groopie auditions, persists. Multiple women claimed they were selected for post-show gatherings at concerts. While the public prosecutor's office has been investigating, no allegations have been substantiated as yet.

For several days, the slogan "Rammstein disrupt on May 15th" has been visible on a bed sheet hung across Dresden's chic Neustadt district's Alaunstraße. However, the letters have since been removed.

An opponent of Lindemann registered a demonstration at Jorge-Gomondai-Platz that reads "Till Verschwindemann - No stage for perpetrators." The assembly authorities are unclear about the start date of the event. Its organizer hopes for around 100 participants.

Over 50k "Rammis" (what some fans like to call themselves) are expected to descend upon the Flutrinne to catch Rammstein perform live. Remaining tickets for the first two shows (on May 15 and 16) are still on sale. They range from €114.22 to €149.42.

Construction begins

Work on the colossal stage on the banks of the Elbe in Saxony is in full swing. However, things are likely to become more congested from May 15th onwards. The streets surrounding the festival site will be shut down between 8 a.m. on May 15th and midnight on May 19th. Roads affected include Pieschener Allee, Messering, and Schlachthofstraße. The well-traveled Elbe cycle path in this area is also temporarily closed!

More bus stops will be established for concert-goers. There will also be new halting restrictions in the wider area, including in Walther-, Max- and Bautzener Straße.

Advice: Choose public transportation!

The admission ticket can also be used as a ticket on the VVO (Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe), valid from 4 hours before the show until 4 a.m. the following day. People arriving by car should park in the Kaditz P+R parking lot on Washingtonstraße and take the streetcar lines 9 and E9 towards the city center. Extra trains will be added for S-Bahn travelers.

Hotels in high demand

Rammstein is generating substantial income for hoteliers and innkeepers in Dresden. The city is almost entirely booked for the tour's inception. Bed spaces that are still available are costly. A room with two beds in a dormitory in the city center now costs roughly €200. Advice: After the show, take the bus, tram, or S-Bahn to the suburbs or neighboring towns. In Radebeul, for instance, a whole apartment for two can be found for €100.
