There is no doubt - This squad is participating in Hard Knocks.
Fans everywhere are excited about the upcoming season of the NFL series focusing on team preparation.
And now we know which team will have cameras following them – the Chicago Bears!
The Bears made a splash in April by selecting quarterback Caleb Williams as their first pick, and have since been seen as a potential sleeper team in the league. They've also made some significant improvements.
So it's no surprise they were chosen for the popular series. The first episode will air in the US on August 6th, and will soon be available in Germany through the NFL Game Pass.
In the past, the New York Jets and Detroit Lions have been featured on Hard Knocks. The Bears have never been on the show, which has been running since 2001.
In a press release, Shannon Furman, who handles NFL series and TV productions, expressed her happiness about being able to showcase this famous NFL team on the show. She said, "We're thrilled to have a well-known NFL franchise like the Chicago Bears on 'Hard Knocks'. (...) We're grateful to the whole organization for letting us in for what promises to be an exciting training camp this summer."
Ryan Poles, the General Manager of the Bears, said in a statement, "Our training camp in 2024 will be a crucial part of our efforts to achieve our season goals, and we're looking forward to sharing this journey with the fans."
There are plenty of spin-offs of Hard Knocks these days. This offseason, the New York Giants will be the team followed – but only until the preseason. Since 2019, a team has been followed during the season. The rights for this season belong to the Prime series "All or Nothing". Rumor has it that an entire division will be followed this year.
