Two individuals were apprehended in the Upper Palatinate following an armed robbery at a gas station. A police representative noted that a helicopter was utilized to track them down for two hours.
These two individuals barged into a gas station near Mühlhausen, which is part of the Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz district, just prior to closing hours on a Thursday. The police reported that they demanded money from the staff.
They menaced the gas station employee with something akin to a weapon. The perpetrators made off on foot, carrying a moderately substantial sum of money.
Subsequently, it was time for the police to make their moves: they managed to capture both suspects. As per eye witnesses, these two men were discovered in the garden of a personal residence. It remains unclear why these two suspects were concealed in this garden.
It is also uncertain as to why the two men stole the gas station. Fortunately, no one was wounded during the robbery.
The criminal investigation unit has initiated the investigation.
