Year after year, the skilled dancers from "Let's Dance" collaborate with their celebrity companions to take them into the realm of dance. Regardless if it's the Rumba, Waltz, or modern Contemporary, the pros teach the celebrities the correct dancing steps, techniques, and choreographies in a short span of time.

What is the role of the professional dancers in "Let's Dance"?

These 14 dancers share the dance floor with the celebrities each year. Serving as seasoned dance experts, they are responsible for their rigorous training and the formulation of innovative choreographies for their celebrity counterparts. Their roles encompass both the technical instructions and the emotional support of the celebrities. They work in tandem to prepare for the live performances.

The professionals are highly adept at adjusting their choreographies accordingly to suit the individual skills and progress of the celebrities, ensuring that each performance is both engaging and technically formidable.

During the live events, the dancers team up with their celebrity partners, effectively adding to the overall experience of "Let's Dance."

Dancers Involved in "Let's Dance" 2024

  • Anastasia Stan (26): One of the new faces this year, she's renowned in her homeland of Moldova as a top dancer in both Standard and Latin disciplines.
  • Kathrin Menzinger (35): A regular cast member since 2015, she partnered with circus artist René Casselly to claim glory last year.
  • Malika Dzumaev (32): She stepped in as a replacement for Renata Lusin in the past season and later danced with Rúrik Gíslason, resulting in their victory at the "Let's Dance" Christmas Show.
  • Mariia Maksina (27): A part of the "Let's Dance" professional crew since 2023, she has previously served as a background dancer in the show.
  • Patricija Ionel (28): Dancing on "Let's Dance" since 2021, she reached the finale with artist Philipp Boy. Her husband, Alexandru Ionel, also joins the new season.
  • Marta Arndt (34): After a two-year hiatus, Marta makes her comeback in the present lineup.
  • Ekaterina Leonova (36): One of the most successful dance professionals in "Let's Dance," Ekaterina has previously triumphed with titles alongside Gil Ofarim, Ingolf Lück, and Pascal Hens.
  • Paul Lorenz (36): Paul has served as a partner on "Let's Dance" since 2015. He took a break but returned for the current season.
  • Alexandru Ionel (29): Alexandru began his "Let's Dance" journey in 2021. Besides dance, he and his wife Patricija co-own a modeling agency.
  • Vadim Garbuzov (36): Since 2015, Vadim has been a fixture of "Let's Dance." Previously, he danced with Kathrin Menzinger at a variety of competitions. He finished as a finalist in 2021 with "Prince Charming" Nicolas Puschmann.
  • Valentin Lusin (36): Joining "Let's Dance" in 2018, Valentin consistently clinches a place on the winner's rostrum with his dance mates. In 2023, he emerged victorious with Anna Ermakova.
  • Massimo Sinató (43): Taking part in "Let's Dance" for fourteen consecutive years, Massimo's last "Dancing Star" title was shared with Lili Paul-Roncalli.
  • Zsolt Sándor Cseke (36): With his partner Malika Dzumaev, he ranks fourth among the DTV rankings. In 2023, Julia Beautx reached the second spot as his dance partner.
  • Mikael Tatarkin (26): New to the show, he's also trained with Motsi Mabuse. Together, they are part of the Hessian State Team Latein, the HTV Top Team, and the Bundeskader B Kombination of the DTV.
