Former RAF personnel become militants - The whereabouts of Garweg and Staub are unknown.

Three months following the detention of ex-RAF terrorist Daniela Klette, law enforcement has received countless tips regarding her previous associates Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub.

Authorities from the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) of Lower Saxony were relentlessly pursuing Garweg since early March and seized the construction trailer in Berlin-Friedrichshain, where the 55-year-old had been residing under the assumed identity of Martin. In response to queries from the German Press Agency in Hanover, the LKA disclosed that they received 431 leads pertaining to Garweg alone and an additional 327 leads connected to Staub. Klette had also occupied a Berlin apartment under a false moniker before her apprehension on February 26.

94 leads involving dogs

New images were disseminated on March 2 showcasing Garweg with his dogs. Since then, as per the LKA, 94 tips have been received concerning the canines. The investigators procured numerous pieces of evidence from both Klette's apartment and the construction trailer site - analyses are still under way.

Klette, Garweg, and Staub all belong to the so-called third generation of the left-wing extremist Red Army Faction. The RAF, known for killing more than thirty individuals, proclaimed disbandment in 1998. Klette is being held in the women's prison in Vechta, Lower Saxony. The Verden Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating her on allegations of robbery. The office is also examining the possibility of categorizing Klette's potential use of a firearm as attempted murder, stated a spokesperson for the authorities.

"I'm still optimistic that we'll arrest the two wanted individuals, Garweg and Staub," declared Friedo de Vries, President of the State Criminal Police Office of Lower Saxony to dpa. "There are still leads that must be persistently followed." Nevertheless, the LKA president did not choose to convey the sense of a "hot lead" at the moment. "We are tenaciously chasing every conceivable lead and shall not falter. And now, we possess significantly more data about the wanted persons than we had in the lengthy hunt for them," revealed de Vries.

Verden District Court responsible for prosecution of Klette

According to official statements, the regional court in Verden holds jurisdiction over Klette's case. This information was provided by the Verden Public Prosecutor's Office and the Verden Regional Court in response to a query from dpa. The prosecutor's office stated that the process against Klette is not yet finished yet, although it's expected that charges will be lodged.

"In light of the possibility of indicting Klette at the Verden Regional Court, the Regional Court is currently analyzing the potential risk scenario," said a court spokesperson. At present, it's impossible to determine in which rooms a potential trial could transpire. [paragraphs combined]
