Wembley straddles a distance of 2706 kilometers. - The Unconventional Journey of Dortmund's Beloved Bus Operator

In a notable feat, Dortmund's famed team bus driver, Christian "Schulle" Schulz ( aged 54 ), has a unique arrangement for the upcoming Champions League final against Real Madrid in London on June 1st. On the previous day, Schulle plans to embark on the team bus from Dortmund, covering a total distance of 1271 kilometers passing through Germany, Netherlands, England, and Scotland.

The extraordinary journey of Dortmund's beloved bus driver

History: An iconic friendly meeting between Celtic Glasgow and BVB will take place on Sunday; it's predicted to have over 30,000 spectators in attendance at Celtic Park. Several players are expected: celebrated goalie Roman Weidenfeller, Marcel Schmelzer, Dédé, Mladen Petric, Kevin Großkreutz, Florian Kringe, and Oliver Kirch. Additionally, Dortmund's assistant coach Sven Bender and Nuri Sahin were planned to be part of this event. However, since the Champions League final is a week after, both coaches have to forego the excursion to focus on their preparations.

Original BVB players displayed on the official social media were Sven Bender and Nuri Sahin, but they must skip the trip due to commitments for the Champions League final. While former BVB players return from Scotland to Germany for a home break before the final and are even invited for an event by the club, "Schulle" opts to stay in Scotland for a short vacation with buddy. He only travels towards London on Wednesday, covering a distance of 651 kilometers. This allows him to collect the Terzic squad from the airport on Friday.

Following the Champions League final, he takes the team members to the airport the next day, then endures the 618 kilometers from London back to Dortmund; a 2706-kilometer journey is quite a task, but nothing is out of reach for a man like Schulle.
