European Tour Opening Ceremony - The timer for German Swifties starts here.
In the upcoming show, there will be brand new outfits, fresh tunes, dazzling dance presentations, and over 40,000 fans rejoicing over their "Pop Queen." Taylor expressively declared to her French Swifties, "This is an amazing audience!"
The regular fan frenzy was witnessed outside the La Défense Arena performance venue. Devoted fans had been enduring inclement weather for days, eagerly anticipating their idol. The average ticket price: around 180 euros.
Taylor plans to play an additional three concerts in Paris before her "Eras" tour continues its journey through Europe, covering Sweden, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom, followed by Germany.
The tour is set to launch on July 17 in Gelsenkirchen, with follow-up performances in Hamburg and Munich. Regrettably, Berlin will not be included in the tour itinerary. The Olympic Stadium, their prospective venue, has been reserved for the European Football Championships, leaving no feasible alternative stage for Taylor's extravagant presentation.
For German Swifties, there is still much to anticipate: Taylor has incorporated tunes from her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," into the concert repertoire. Additionally, she showcases her affection for Travis Kelce (34).
During her first performance in Paris, Taylor sang "So High School," a song previously unveiled on her "Eras" tour. Here, she harmoniously incorporated a loving message to her football star. The singer and her dancers enacted "swag surf," a signature dance ritual of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis' football team, and their supporters.
This unique dance consists of lateral swaying movements. Travis himself was unable to attend Taylor's European debut; however, he had a momentous few days. Only a few hours before Taylor's performance in Paris, he made his acting debut in the new horror series "Grotesquerie."
Travis presented himself on set in all-white attire, with dark-dyed hair and clutching his script. For a while, the NFL player has had his sights set on the television and film industry. With Taylor as his ally, he may very well achieve his goal.
