Who's taking home the trophy?

Here's a recap of the European League quarterfinals:

Füchse Berlin defeated Nantes with a strong 37:30 in the second leg (first leg score was 33:33). Rhein-Neckar Löwen also managed to pull off a win against Sporting Lisbon, losing the second leg 28:29 but edging ahead due to the higher first leg victory (32:29). SG Flensburg-Handewitt faced off against IK Sävehof from Sweden and lost the second leg 28:29. However, their major win in the first leg (41:30) ultimately determined their advancement. Dinamo Bucharest secured their spot by winning both games against Skjern Handbold from Denmark.

When and where is the Final Four happening?

The EHF European League Final Four is set to take place in Hamburg on May 25 and 26. For the first time ever, it will be held in a neutral venue, the Barclays Arena.

The semi-final matchups

Both semi-finals will be played on May 25. The final match will happen on May 26, with the losers of each semi-final competing for the third-place title beforehand.

Which team has won the competition the most?

Since the EHF Cup's inception in 1982, a German team has walked away with the trophy 26 times. The teams with the most wins are THW Kiel (1998, 2002, 2004, 2019), Frisch auf Göppingen (2011, 2012, 2016, 2017), and SC Magdeburg (1999, 2001, 2007, 2021), each with four wins under their belts. Füchse Berlin, the defending champions, can tie these teams by winning their third European League title (2015, 2018, 2023).

Where can I watch the Final Four?

The streaming service Dyn (ad) will be live-broadcasting the entire Final Four of the EHF European League. DAZN (ad) is another streaming provider where you can watch the event. Coverage starts on May 25 at 3 p.m. with the first semi-final between Flensburg and Bucharest.
