The DFB squad will don the outfit once more. - The pink jersey has been snapped up quickly; demand is high.

The German national team's pink away kit continues to be a hot commodity - it even ran out of stock at one point! You can now purchase the shirt for both men and women again. Adidas's official website announced on Thursday that it'll be back in stock starting Wednesday, June 5 at 8:30 am.

On Saturday, the shirt was back available for order, but with a disclaimer: "Stock for this item is currently being replenished. You can order it now, but delivery is expected on Thursday, June 6."

The pink DFB jersey sparks debate

Ever since its unveiling, the pink jersey has sparked much discussion. "The Athletic," an American sports outlet, ranked it as the third most controversial jersey during the European Championship. It was surpassed only by England's goalkeeper jersey from 1996 (1st place) and Spain's away jersey from 2016 (2nd place).

The most gorgeous jerseys, according to the panel: The Netherlands' home jersey in 1988 (1st place), Croatia's home jersey in 1996 (2nd place), and Denmark's goalkeeper home jersey in 1992 (3rd place).

The DFB marketed the shirts with a humorous online campaign, addressing the criticism head-on. Their catchphrase: "We don't care what you say, the players like it!" In the advertisement, people were heard accusing the pink jersey of being unwanted, a women's shirt, and not a Germany jersey. Various individuals, including players, sporting director Völler (63), and model Lena Gercke (36), refuted these claims.
