Remarkable hairdo, excellent scoring ability - The new eye-catcher for Eintracht is Ekitiké.

Ekitiké, a player from Paris, stunned everyone with his unique hairstyle during a match against Leipzig. He dyed his hair cappuccino-brown and had multiple braids instead of his usual short, braided haircut. In the game, at 2:2, he equalized with a powerful header, setting off a winning streak. In the past five games, he's scored four times and assisted once.

Ekitiké is now Eintracht's exciting new find!

The winter addition had a dismal start with lackluster fitness and cramping issues instead of scoring goals. He wasn't ready for Bundesliga action until April. However, Eintracht remains hopeful that they've found their next star striker.

"He's amazing when he performs at his best," Coach Dino Toppmöller said with a grin, "but his skills could be better defensively. Nonetheless, when he's with the ball, Hugo can create high-risk situations."

The elongated, agile, and swift Ekitiké is challenging for opponents to contain. He has all the characteristics of a top-tier striker: an understanding of the game, a strong urge to score, impressive ball skills, and the needed determination.

Eintracht had been lacking this specific player for most of last season following the sudden sale of veteran top scorer Kolo Muani. "We often outshot our rivals, but we just failed to be accurate enough," Toppmöller noted, "we need to work harder on becoming more resourceful and making that crucial move towards goal."

Toppmöller, who was instrumental in making Germany's national team player Jamal Musiala (21) more goalscoring during his time in Munich, has also been honing Eintracht's accuracy: Goalscorer Omar Marmoush (25) scored his 17th competitive goal of the season in the crucial 2-2 tie against Leipzig. Before this, his best output was 4, while Ansgar Knauff has scored an impressive 7 times - more than ever before in his career.

However, despite scoring 51 goals, Eintracht Frankfurt still lagged far behind their closest rivals Hoffenheim, who struck 66 times. Toppmöller added, "We may have lacked the final finishing touch this season, I've definitely noticed some gray hairs due to this."
