Fan store quickly overwhelmed with visitors. - The new Borussia Dortmund soccer jersey has been revealed!
On a Friday, Borussia Dortmund showcased their home kit for the impending Bundesliga season with colors black and yellow, as usual.
The club shared a brief video on social media showcasing the jersey with the tagline "A True Classic. A Proper Dortmund" (German: Ein echter Klassiker. Echt Dortmund).
BVB players Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt, Julian Ryerson, Salih Özcan, Nico Schlotterbeck, Emre Can, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Gregor Kobel modeled the jersey supplied by Puma.
An upgrade from the current design, the new kit has a more straightforward appearance. This time, the yellow area has expanded, whereas the sleeves remain black.
The pinstripe pattern on the new jersey is intended to signify tradition, the current moment, and a glimpse of the future according to the team's explanations. The words "Borussia connects" are displayed over the neck area.
Fans seem thrilled with the new attire. As soon as the official unveiling, the online store reached full capacity with people trying to purchase the new shirt.
Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel showcases the new goalkeeper uniform, an olive green top with dark green features.
The jersey might make its debut on Saturday. Borussia Dortmund will face Darmstadt at home on the final matchday of the season (3:30 pm/Sky and on ).
A differentiating aspect is that the jerseys are composed of recycled polyester.
The black and yellow attire is available in two versions; the "Authentic" home shirt (costs 140 euros) is the actual shirt players will wear on the field, and the "Replica" supporter's jersey costs 90 euros.
