Boxing Legends Face a Troubling Situation!
During a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday, Mike Tyson encountered a medical emergency. He started feeling ill and dizzy on board.
After reaching Los Angeles, paramedics were stationed on the aircraft to treat the ex-boxer.
According to a rep for Tyson, "Thankfully, Mr. Tyson is in good shape now. He experienced discomfort and dizziness around 30 minutes before landing. He is extremely appreciative of the medical team that assisted him."
Tyson was all set to face YouTube sensation Jake Paul on the 20th of July at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas. "I'm thrilled to be going up against Jake Paul. He's come a long way as a boxer. It'll be a pleasure to observe what the grit and drive of a kid can do against the experience and talent of a GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)."
Tyson hung up his boxing gloves in 2005 but made a comeback for a final bout on November 28, 2020, against Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a tie.
Tyson has had an impressive professional boxing career, fighting 58 matches and winning 50 (44 of which were knockouts). One of his most famous bouts was against Evander Holyfield in 1997, when Tyson bit a chunk of his opponent's ear.
