Vehicular movement - The Köhlbrand Bridge is shut down this weekend for necessary maintenance tasks.
The Köhlbrand Bridge in Hamburg will be out of service this weekend for scheduled maintenance and repair. The closure will occur from Friday (10 p.m.) to Monday (5 a.m.), as announced by the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) on Tuesday. Detours will be marked for drivers' convenience.
For those heading west, the U30 signs should be followed. This will take you along Roßdamm, Neuhöfer Damm, Rethedamm, Moorburger Hauptdeich, Cuxhavener Straße, and Finkenwerder Straße. On the other hand, drivers going east should look for the U40 signs. People intending to visit the Container Terminal Tollerort (CTT) and "Ross" port area should utilize the detour via Nippoldstraße.
