The scoring blitz by Benedikt Pichler (26) set the stage for Kiel's promotion with his early lead. Following his eighth goal of the season, he formed a makeshift fishing rod with his hands in celebration. Pichler tearfully revealed on "Sport 1" that his advisor had passed away in the year and that the celebration was dedicated to him.
Emotionally, Pichler said, "That was for him!"
