Joko and Klaas take on ProSieben - The fourth episode experience described for the hosts.
Fifty-year-old Steven Gätjen, your boss, challenged our dynamic duo, Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) in a showdown dubbed "Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben." The stakes were airtime for the next episode, with a broadcast date set for May 8 at 8:15 pm on ProSieben.
Creative Battle with Celebrities
For their prior defeat, the victorious ProSieben team handed Joko and Klaas the responsibility of designing and programming the graphics for future shows. They unleashed their creativity, resulting in a variety of quirky logos such as a fish, an astronaut, French fries, and an image of a naked Joko Winterscheidt projected onto the LED floor.
In the first game, Joko and Heufer-Umlauf were tasked to create a projectile that could break through numerous materials like glass, cardboard, aluminum foil, and cling film. In spite of a rocky start, they rallied back and won. The music round featured a duel against Palina Rojinski (39) and Jessica Schwarz (46). Here, the two entertainers needed to answer and sing questions, giving them a well-deserved victory. The coin game against Max von der Groeben (32) and Gizem Emre (28) ended with another win for team Joko and Klaas.
The fourth challenge urged the duo to independently solve tasks without working together. In the fifth game, Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf welcomed the challenge and managed to triumph in a game that limited their verbal communication. The penultimate game tested the duo's ability to work excavators in order to transport a car from one platform to another, and they emerged victorious - their fifth win.
In the notoriously challenging "El Final No Comprendo," Joko and Klaas were expected to solve five difficult tasks with the help of a Spanish-speaking substitute for Steven. The tasks ranged from identifying songs played by a mariachi band to engaging with a complex math problem. The linguistic Powerpoint presentation posed an obstacle that eventually resulted in the duo's defeat.
The repercussion: Heufer-Umlauf, as punishment, must develop a documentary series on teaching Winterscheidt the art of hairdressing, a project that will be aired on "Late Night Berlin" and Joyn.
