An Imminent Reunion with Leipzig for Forsberg
Forsberg is enjoying great sporting success. The international has found the back of the net four times in the last five games, bringing his total to five goals and two assists in his first eleven games. After the summer, Forsberg will reunite with his former Leipzig teammates. RB Leipzig will embark on its first major US tour during this time.
Leipzig legend Emil Forsberg comments on the reunion: "I never expected this reunion to happen so soon with players, coaches, and officials. Over there, we'll have excellent training facilities at our disposal, and New York is the perfect city to boost RB Leipzig's and the Bundesliga's popularity in the United States. I am sure we'll have a fantastic time together."
From July 28 to August 4, the club will set up camp at the New York Red Bulls' academy in Whippany, New Jersey. The team's first pre-season friendly of the new season will take place on July 31 at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, against Aston Villa (2 a.m. German time).
