She's the most popular female musician at the moment, known for her relationship with Travis Kelce (age 34), and even impacting the game plans in the National Football League.
In short: Taylor Swift is currently travelling across the USA for a tour, stopping at places like Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis which all house NFL teams. This means these teams had to adjust their game schedules around her performances.
NFL throws shade at conspiracy theory
As rumors spread in football circles, it's said that these cities requested their stadium operators to confirm all possible dates for a Taylor Swift concert. Her concerts bring in a lot of revenue, with fans flying in from all over the world just to see her.
Moreover, the NFL arranged for Swift to be able to watch as many games as possible of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift is set to perform six concerts in Toronto between the 14th and 23rd of November. On a day off from her tour, the NFL scheduled the Chiefs game in Buffalo, a city that's only a three-hour drive away from Toronto, or a 35-minute flight if she chooses to take her private jet.
However, North disputes this: "I've seen a lot of conspiracy theories about Kansas City playing Buffalo in the middle of the season, right when Taylor is playing in Toronto. But that wasn't something we had in mind."
It's a coincidence? Doubtful!
It's been statistically proven that NFL games with Taylor Swift in attendance result in higher ratings, despite her only being shown for 30 seconds or so. This delights the broadcasters.
