Team sport involving throwing a ball into a goal. - The European League's Final Four now includes foxes.

Berlin's Füchse are once again in the Final Four of the European League. They secured a surprising victory of 37-30 (18:16) against HC Nantes in France on Tuesday night. In the first match a week ago, it ended with a draw at 33-33. The championship games will be held in Hamburg on 25th and 26th of May, and the semi-final draws will be made on Friday. Other teams participating are Dinamo Bucharest and SG Flensburg-Handewitt. The top scorers for Berlin were Lasse Andersson and Hans Lindberg, both getting nine goals.

The Bundesliga team didn't have their national player Nils Lichtlein due to an injury, along with center Mijajlo Marsenic. He had sustained a hand injury in the loss to Melsungen on Saturday. Still, Berlin had a confident start, relying on keeper Dejan Milosavljev from the very beginning who made seven saves in the first half. With that, they went ahead and were up by five goals after approximately 27 minutes (17:12). Nantes played aggressively in the fast-paced game, displaying some unsportsmanlike behavior. However, the mistakes made by the Berliners right before halftime allowed Nantes to capitalize on their missteps with cold-blooded penalties.

Despite this, the Foxes remained calm and held onto their lead after the break. In fact, they increased the gap to six goals (28:22) with about 13 minutes remaining. Nantes' Odriozola was then sent off with a red card in the 54th minute. Berlin didn't let this lead slip away; they had a strong finish to the game.
