Swedish soccer player counters. - The conflict between the Roses and Forsberg escalates even further.

Previously, Mrs. Forsberg claimed that her husband had "vanished" from their lives following his transfer from RB Leipzig to New York. This meant that he hadn't reached out to her or the family.

Denying these accusations, Forsberg (32) asserted, "I never deserted my family. Not at all. It's distressing that it's been presented in that light. I've maintained communication with the kids and the rest of the family since arriving here."

Previously, Shanga Forsberg had announced their separation on Instagram, mentioning, "We're splitting up. Something I never thought I'd say after two kids and 19 years together. It's still difficult to grasp. I loved you most, and I've always backed you. However, being exploited and ignored is not true love."

Emil and Shanga had been together since school, and when he relocated to Leipzig in 2015, she accompanied him. In 2023, he was traded to New York Red Bulls' sister club - causing him to relocate to the United States on his own, owing to lengthy training camps in Florida and California.

Divorce petitioned; communication with lawyers

Now that divorce proceedings have commenced, Forsberg prefers not to talk much about it to safeguard his children's well-being. He stated, "Everything is about giving the children a good time and lots of affection."

Following her husband's interview, Shanga voiced her reaction to the publication via Instagram. There, she said, "It's tough not to respond to what Emil said in the interview. I'm ready to hear the reason why he left his kids and me behind after the move."

He added, "It's challenging to find answers when there's limited conversation between us. Even when he was sent the divorce papers prior to their distribution, there was no response. So far, he hasn't inquired about my or the children's wellbeing. As of right now, our communication is exclusively through attorneys."
