First FC Magdeburg Visit England - The approaching European event is igniting excitement among FCM fans.

The upcoming second league season's training starts on June 17th. Alongside the training camp, scheduled from July 3rd to July 12th with the location yet to be determined, 1. FC Magdeburg aims to organize at least five friendly matches.

The most remarkable event in this lineup is a match against English second league team, Norwich City, scheduled for July 26th. Sports chief Otmar Schork (66) shares, "Our goal is to provide our fans something exciting since they enjoy traveling abroad."

1. FC Magdeburg Travels to England

This summer sojourn in England act as a practice session before the league's start in the first weekend of August, perking up the enthusiasm of the fans. Arranging travel and flights is underway, with the club aiding in the process through their fan representatives.

The team's plan is to make a one-day trip, with the outward and return flights expected to occur on the matchday.

Schork comments, "This is an extraordinary game, especially for our fans. We're competing against a high-caliber team and can't wait for this match."

For the 50th anniversary of the European Cup win in 1974, the FCM tried reaching out to former cup competitors like AC Milan and Sporting Lisbon, receiving no response. He adds, "We gave it our best shot."

The fixed friendlies are now as follows: June 26th (6 pm) in Loburg, June 29th (2 pm) in Quedlinburg, and July 2nd (2 pm) against BFC.

An opponent for July 20th is still being sought. This date coincides with the club's season-opening, wherein they plan to hold a large fan and member festival at the stadium.
