Teen's Discovery at Harry Reid Airport Sparks Sex Trafficking Charges

A 50-year-old man accused of trafficking a teenager he befriended into sexual servitude is due to appear in court in Las Vegas this Thursday.

Vincent Grayson is facing multiple charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, kidnapping, and child abuse/neglect.

The girl, who had run away from home, was spotted by a law enforcement officer at the airport sleeping on the floor in April.

On questioning, Grayson and the girl, who first met in January, confessed to a sexual relationship that had rapidly turned abusive and exploitative. Within a week of her abandoning her family, Grayson had rented out the teen's services to some 20 customers.

The LVMPD officer detected signs of physical abuse when he approached the pair, and later reported that Grayson ordered the girl to restrict her encounters with each client to limit the time spent on "dates" and maximize profit.

When the motel they were staying in evicted them, the girl and Grayson ended up camping out at the airport, charging their phones and sleeping on the floor.

A passing police officer took notice of the situation and acted after finding the girl had been reported missing a week prior.

Police stated that while Grayson kept the money earned from the encounters, it was unclear if the girl sustained any significant injuries during her stay with him.

This is not Grayson's first brush with the law. He had spent six months in jail for two crimes in 2015. The first was being a fugitive from another state. The second was for conspiracy to forge documents. Grayson was convicted on the latter charge.
