Increase in violence in Magdeburg - Teenagers brutally kill a 33-year-old man.
In the early hours of Friday night, a pair of men found themselves in a brawl with an unknown number of assailants for unexplained reasons. The scuffle went down at the intersection of Scharnhorstring and Bruno-Taut-Ring near a kiosk.
CCTV footage confiscated
The two victims were able to escape the scene and contact emergency services. They were hospitalized with their injuries. The 33-year-old sustained critical injuries, undergoing immediate surgery that night. Sadly, he succumbed to his wounds four days later.
The authorities launched an investigation into the attempted murder. The exact cause of death will be determined by the autopsy. All three suspects have been interrogated multiple times since the incident. However, one of the suspects has been denied detention by the courts.
