Street in Münster named after Von-Vincke - Teenagers apprehend burglars (ages 15, 17)
Two suspects, whose identities are not yet confirmed, followed a family consisting of a 37-year-old woman, her 15-year-old son, and her 17-year-old daughter. This occurred after the woman conducted a cash transaction at a retail store on Bahnhofstraße. The family was headed towards Servatiiplatz when the two suspects began to follow them.
One of the men snatched the cash from the woman's backpack and ran off in the direction of Von-Vincke-Straße. The second suspect right behind the first tried to stop the children of the victims from chasing after the thief. Nevertheless, the youngsters managed to catch the two men in Von-Vincke-Straße and detain them until the cops arrived.
The authorities confiscated the stolen money and potential stolen items found in the bag of one of the suspects. Both men had a Dutch asylum visa with them. These documents came under suspicion since they could possibly be forged.
Now, investigators are looking into whether the two men are unlawfully residing in Germany. The duo has been arrested on a temporary basis by the police.
