Taylor Swift leads F1 in 2023 Vegas ticket sales: Stubhub
Taylor Swift's two Las Vegas concerts are more attractive than the inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, with casino companies calling it the most profitable event in Las Vegas history . At least that’s what StubHub’s annual “Year of Live Experience” report says.
“This is more than just a trip,” the conductor noted in the release. "This is a cultural phenomenon and we all live in Taylor's version of the world."
Globally, Swift remained the best-selling artist all year, with nearly 12 times the sales of her 2018 "Reputation" tour, according to StubHub.
Although the inaugural Formula 1 race in Las Vegas finished second, it is the third largest sporting event in the world.
StubHub claims that its ranking is based on cumulative global sales on its site, but does not provide data.
This is the snub hub for Adele fans
In its report, StubHub wrote: "Adele's residency surpassed U2's in Vegas, where live entertainment is booming this year. "It's the No. 1 selling show in Las Vegas, Nearly 50% more sales than second place U2, even in a much smaller venue (about a quarter the size). "
So why is Adele nowhere on StubHub's Las Vegas Top 5 rankings, while U2 is at No. 3?
Apparently, Adele fans weren't StubHub fans when they purchased Adele tickets. Either that, or the conductor created a "Flub" center.
