In his own words, Carro mentioned, "I haven't received any calls from anyone, not even Simon Rolfes." The club's first step is to find out what Tah desires. Carro added, "We'll discuss it with him after the season." It's a certainty that the team wants to keep their star player on their roster.
Their top priority, however, is focusing on the two remaining matches: against Atalanta Bergamo in the Europa League (Wednesday, 9pm/live ticker) and against 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the DFB Cup (Saturday, 8pm/live ticker). In both games, Tah is expected to be the captain leading his team onto the field. He will also accompany head coach Xabi Alonso (42) as a Bayer player at the press conference in Dublin on Tuesday night.
When questioned about the future of Bayern Munich's Josip Stanisic (24) on loan to the team, Carro said, "Stanisic's situation is that he has a contract with Bayern and provided there are no changes, he'll likely return to Bayern Munich." At present, Bayer has no option to acquire him as he's bound to Bayern until 2026.
Carro continued, "If he harbours another wish, he or his management would surely consult with us. As of now, there haven't been any discussions in this regard."
