Alleged romantic involvement of William - Surprisingly, she now has a close relationship with Queen Camilla.
Princess Kate has been fighting her cancer privately, but recently she's back in the spotlight: Rose Hanbury.
Last week (May 12), Rose was seen in a close conversation with Queen Camilla during the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire.
Not long after, her son, Lord Oliver (14), was given the privilege of wearing the royal train of Charles III (75) as an honorary page at a ceremony for the Order of the British Empire in London's St. Paul's Cathedral.
Rose Hanbury, who's been married to David Cholmondeley (63, otherwise known as the Marquess of Cholmondeley, with three children together) since 2009, is reportedly taking on a more significant role at court, as per royal expert Richard Eden in the Daily Mail. It's said that she and Queen Camilla share a special bond.
The growing concern over Rose's closeness to Queen Camilla among royal enthusiasts
Gossip about Rose started in 2019. Word on the street claimed that the long-standing friend of Kate Middleton, who resides in the grand estate Houghton Hall, a mere stone's throw away from the Middletons' country home Anmer Hall, had been romantically involved with Prince William. This was when Kate was carrying their third child, Prince Louis (6).
The rumor of infidelity never found confirmation. However, it gained prominence once more in the context of the public silence and the disputed image incident surrounding the frail Princess Kate in March.
As a parody, late-night show host and satirist Stephen Colbert (60) made light of the situation on his "The Late Show", stating, "The kingdom is in an uproar over the reported disappearance of Kate Middleton. Now the internet detectives are saying Kate's absence could be tied to William having an affair." He was unaware of the Princess's cancer at the time.
Rose Hanbury's legal team vehemently dismissed the affair rumors as "entirely false". Regardless, her new connection to Camilla is garnering increased attention. [3]
